1. Information we handle
Game data on your device
The game saves settings, selected difficulty, custom board preferences, best times, the name you enter for a local record, win/loss statistics, and the number of rounds started in local app storage. The core game does not upload these local records to a public leaderboard or require an account. Device backup services may copy app data according to your device and backup settings.
Data processed by integrated services
The app integrates advertising, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and messaging services. When these services run, information can be transmitted off your device. The data processed depends on the service, device, region, permissions, and available privacy settings, and can include:
- Identifiers: advertising ID, app set ID, app instance or installation IDs, and messaging registration tokens. App set IDs support non-advertising purposes such as analytics and fraud prevention.
- Device and connection details: device model, operating system, language, screen and hardware characteristics, network type, carrier information, IP address, and approximate location inferred from IP address.
- App and advertising activity: app launches, sessions, screen or gameplay events, ad requests, impressions, clicks, video interactions, and ad revenue measurements.
- Diagnostics and preferences: crash traces, error logs, performance information, SDK/app versions, and privacy or consent signals where available.
Messages you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or other information you choose to provide. Please avoid sending passwords, payment card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.
2. How information is used
We use information to operate the game, remember your preferences, maintain local records, deliver and measure advertising, understand app use, diagnose errors, prevent fraud and abuse, distribute app configuration, support messaging, and respond to support or privacy requests.
Advertising partners may use available advertising identifiers and interaction data to select personalized ads, measure campaigns, and prevent invalid traffic, depending on applicable law and privacy choices. Other ads may be selected using contextual information.
Where a legal basis is required, the relevant basis depends on the activity: providing requested game or support services, legitimate interests in maintaining and protecting the app, legal obligations, or consent for processing that requires it. This policy is a notice; reading it or continuing to play is not, by itself, consent to optional processing.
3. Services & sharing
Integrated providers can receive information directly from the app. They process it under their applicable terms, privacy policies, and roles. The app's integrations include:
TopOn and mediated advertising
TopOn provides ad mediation and advertising technology, including the SDM advertising component. It can process identifiers, device and network information, app information, ad interactions, and diagnostic or privacy signals for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Integrated ad sources include Google AdMob and Unity Ads.
TopOn Advertising Services Privacy Policy
Google AdMob
Google Mobile Ads processes IP addresses, identifiers, ad and app interactions, and diagnostics for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Google Privacy Policy · Google Mobile Ads data disclosure
Unity Ads
Unity Ads processes device, network, identifier, and advertising interaction information to serve and measure ads and protect against fraud. Its player privacy policy describes its processing, partners, and available privacy controls.
Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy
Meta / Facebook App Events
The Facebook SDK supports app event and advertising measurement. App activity, advertising identifiers when available, device details, and advertising revenue events may be sent to Meta. Using the game does not require Facebook login.
Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase services
Analytics measures app use and events. Crashlytics processes crash information and installation identifiers to diagnose failures. Remote Config uses installation information to deliver configuration. Cloud Messaging uses installation identifiers and registration tokens for message delivery.
Email support is handled through our email provider. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to investigate fraud or abuse. If the app changes ownership, relevant information may transfer with it, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.
Advertising disclosures may be considered a "sale", "sharing", or processing for targeted advertising under some privacy laws, even without a direct payment for the information. See the choices below to request an applicable opt-out.
4. Device permissions
- Internet and network status: enable advertising, analytics, configuration, messaging, and other service connections. These permissions generally do not display a runtime permission prompt on Android.
- Advertising ID: integrated services may access the Android advertising identifier when permitted by the operating system and applicable settings. This is separate from access to your contacts or personal files.
- Notifications: the messaging integration may request notification permission on supported devices. You can decline or disable notifications in your device settings; notifications are not needed for the Minesweeper rules or local records.
- Local storage: game records and preferences are saved in the app's own storage. Core gameplay does not require access to your photo library or shared personal files.
The core Minesweeper game does not require your camera, microphone, contacts, or precise GPS location. Advertising services can still infer an approximate location from your IP address. Your operating system's app settings show the permissions available for your installed version.
5. Your choices & rights
- Local records: use your device's app storage controls to clear the game's stored data. This also removes saved settings and records.
- Advertising: use the advertising privacy controls in Android settings to reset or delete your advertising ID where supported. Ad providers may also offer privacy controls through an ad's privacy icon or their linked policies. These settings do not necessarily stop all analytics, fraud prevention, or contextual ads.
- Notifications and permissions: manage these in your device's settings for the app.
- Privacy requests: email cylemonvip@gmail.com to request access, correction, deletion, or an applicable objection, restriction, portability, consent withdrawal, or advertising opt-out.
Your rights depend on where you live. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority or appeal a request decision by replying to us. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Please identify the app and explain your request. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify and locate the relevant data; do not email passwords or identity documents unless a specific, necessary verification method has been agreed. Because there is no game account, we may be unable to associate a device identifier with your email address. Where a provider controls the data independently, its privacy request process may also be needed.
6. Retention & deletion
Local game data remains in app storage until you clear it or remove the app, subject to device backup and restore behavior. Clearing local data does not automatically delete information already received by service providers.
Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to address the request, resolve related issues, and meet legal or dispute-handling obligations. You can request its deletion by email; any legally required retention will be explained when applicable.
Service data follows the relevant service settings and provider retention schedules. Firebase describes a 90-day retention period before removal begins for Crashlytics crash traces and associated identifiers; other services have different schedules. See the linked provider policies for their details.
For data within our control, we will assess deletion requests and delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed, unless retention is required by law or another applicable exception. Backup copies may persist until they are overwritten or expire under the relevant backup process.
7. Security & processing locations
Game preferences are held in app storage protected by the device's operating system. Google documents encrypted network transport for Firebase and Google Mobile Ads data. Other providers describe their security measures in their policies. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
We and our providers may process information outside your country. For example, Firebase services operate on Google's global infrastructure. Privacy laws may differ between locations. Where required, international transfers must use an applicable legal mechanism or safeguard. Contact us for information about processing relevant to your request.
8. Children's privacy
The game does not ask players to enter their date of birth. Parents and guardians should review the app's store age information, advertising disclosures, and device privacy controls before allowing a child to use it.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without any legally required parental permission, contact cylemonvip@gmail.com. We will investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required by applicable law.
9. Changes & contact
We may update this policy as the app or its data practices change. The revised policy will show an updated date. Material changes will receive additional notice or consent where required by applicable law.
